This paragraph 80 scheme is set against a woodland backdrop within a series of meadows which were traditionally grazed by livestock.

The landscape strategy looked to reflect the historic character of quarried chalk and gravel pits through connecting local woodland and water habitats. Landscape material selection for the site was carefully considered and proposed not only utilising these materials but also restricting material supply to a very local radius of the site.
