Meres House
On the site of a former Christmas tree plantation, this project has been inspired by the local network of local mosses and meres (a chain of bogs, marsh and fenland formed by glaciers retreating after the last ice age).
The landscape strategy sought to celebrate this extensive network of waterways through treating the garden itself as a wetland; completely reimagining how we use our gardens
The aspiration for this landscape is to become a key connector within the local network of wetland habitats therefore completely transforming its function from monoculture to biodiverse, nature rich habitat.
